Tedizolid phosphate
Indications/Uses
Acute bacterial skin & skin structure infections caused by susceptible isolates of gm +ve microorganisms in adults ≥18 yr.
Dosage/Direction for Use
FC tab 200 mg once daily for 6 days. IV infusion 200 mg once daily over 1 hr for 6 days.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Patients w/ neutropenia (neutrophil counts <1,000 cells/mm3); Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea; increased risk of drug-resistant bacteria development. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <18 yr. Elderly ≥65 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, headache, diarrhea, vomiting, dizziness.
Drug Interactions
Increased plasma conc of BCRP substrates. Incompatibility w/ divalent cation-containing soln.
