Betamethasone 17-valerate
Indications/Uses
Relief of inflammatory & pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses eg, psoriasis, allergic & inflammatory dermatitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply thin film onto affected area once-tds.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to betamethasone valerate or other corticosteroids. 
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if irritation or sensitization develops or in presence of dermatological infections. HPA axis suppression. Large doses, prolonged use or use under occlusive dressing. Avoid contact w/ eyes. Pregnancy & lactation. Growth & development of childn.
Adverse Reactions
Burning, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneform eruptions, hypopigmentation, perioral & allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae & miliaria.
