Indications/Uses
Rapid treatment of severe vit deficiencies.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult, elderly & childn ≥14 yrAcute conditions 1 set IV bd for 2-3 days, followed by 1 set IV daily for 5-7 days. Less serious cases 1 set IV daily for 3-7 days. Childn 10-14 yr ½-2/3 of adult dose, 6-10 yr1/3 of adult dose, <6 yr ¼ of adult dose.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients receiving levodopa for Parkinsonism.
Special Precautions
Hyperoxaluria. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Paresthesia, hypotension. Anaphylaxis, rash, urticaria. Inj site reactions including pain & swelling.
