Glycerin in aqueous cream.
XORQUAS Cream contains: White Soft Paraffin 15% w/w, Emulsifying Wax 9% w/w, Liquid Paraffin 6% w/w.
Xorquas G25: Glycerine 25% w/w in Aqueous Cream.
Xorquas G50: Glycerine 50% w/w in Aqueous Cream.
Pharmacology: Pharmacodynamics: The ingredients provide emollient, moisturising action on dry or chapped skin.
Pharmacokinetics: Not applicable.
For topical application to the skin, as an emollient for the symptomatic relief of dry skin conditions and as soap-substitute for skin-washing.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adults, children and elderly: Apply sparingly to the affected area as required or as directed by the pharmacist or doctor.
Symptoms of accidental oral ingestion may include gastrointestinal symptoms, particularly diarrhea. Treatment need only be symptomatic.
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Special Precautions
For external use only.
Contains Chlorocresol which may cause allergic reactions.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
The safety of aqueous cream during pregnancy and lactation has not been established but is not considered to constitute a hazard during these period.
Adverse Reactions
Occasional allergic reactions.
XORQUAS Cream may be associated with immediate cutaneous reactions when used as a leave-on emollient, such as stinging, burning, itching and redness.
Drug Interactions
No clinically significant drug interactions known.
Store below 30°C.
Keep the jar tightly closed.
Do not freeze.
Protect from heat, moisture and light.
Shelf-Life: Xorquas G25: 24 months.
Xorquas G50: 2 years.
