Why do I need this medicine?

Ketorolac helps relieve moderate to moderately severe pain.

How do I use this medicine?

Use Ketorolac nasal spray exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not use more or less than instructed by your doctor.

How to use the nasal spray:
  1.  Before using the bottle for the first time, activate the pump. To activate the pump, hold the bottle at arm’s length away from the body. Place your index finger and middle finger on the top of the flange, while supporting the bottom w/ your thumb. Press down evenly and release pump 5 times. There is no need to activate the pump again if more doses are used from the bottle.
  2. Blow your nose gently to clear nostrils.
  3. Sit up straight or stand. Tilt head slightly forward.
  4. Insert the tip of the container into your right nostril.
  5. Hold the bottle upright and aim the tip towards the back of your nose
  6. Hold your breath and spray 1 time into your right nostril, pressing down on both sides of the finger flange. Pinch your nose to help keep the medicine in your nose.
  7. Breath in gently through your mouth.
  8. Repeat procedures 3-7 on your left nostril only if your doctor prescribed 2 sprays for you.
