Why do I need this medicine?

Latanoprost+Timolol is used to treat an increased pressure in the eye.

How do I use this medicine?

Use Latanoprost+Timolol exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not apply more or less than instructed by your doctor.

Latanoprost+Timolol is best applied in the evening.

How to use this medicine:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before using the eye drops.
2. Tilt your head slightly backwards and look upward.
3. Use your finger to gently pull the lower eyelid down.
4. Apply the required number of drops inside the lower eyelid.
5. Close your eye and gently press the corner of your eye (near the nose bridge) for 1 minute.
6. If you have been given other eye drops to be used together with Latanoprost+Timolol, wait for a 5 minute interval before applying the other medicine.

Do not allow the tip of the dropper of this medicine to touch your eyes, eyelids or any other surface. Recap the eye drop immediately after use. If the eye drop becomes contaminated, it could cause an infection in your eyes.

Some brands of Latanoprost+Timolol contain benzalkonium chloride as a preservative. This may discolour soft contact lenses and cause eye irritation. If you are wearing contact lenses, you should remove it before applying the eye drop. Wait for at least 15 minutes before reinserting your lenses.

Do not share your eye drop with anyone else.
