Why do I need this medicine?
Amorolfine is used to treat fungal and yeast infections of the fingernails and toenails.
How do I use this medicine?
Apply Amorolfine exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not apply more or less than instructed by your doctor.

To apply this medicine:
1. Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly.
2. Use the nail file provided and file down the infected areas of the nail. Clean the nail surface with the swab provided after filing. Dip the applicator provided into the bottle of Amorolfine and apply the solution onto the infected nail. Do not wipe the applicator on the edge of the bottle as it is designed to deliver a measured dose of medicine. Clean the applicator with the swab after using. Leave the nail to dry for 3 minutes.
3. For subsequent applications, always file down the affected nails and clean the nail surface before application.

DO NOT reuse the nail file on healthy nails as it may spread the infection.

Do not use this medicine for anything else other than the purpose instructed by your doctor.

Amorolfine must be used regularly for it to be effective. Continue using this medicine even when you feel better. Do not stop using it unless instructed by the doctor.

Complete the entire course of medicine. If you don't, the infection will not be properly controlled. Treatment should be continued until the nail is regenerated and finally cured.
What should I do if I have forgotten to use this medicine?
Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember.

DO NOT double a dose under any circumstances.
When should I not use this medicine?
Do not use this medicine to children unless instructed to do so by the doctor.
What should I take note of while using this medicine?
Do not allow Amorolfine to be in contact with your eyes, ears, nose or mouth.

Do not swallow or inhale the solution.

Do not use nail varnish or artificial nails on the infected nail while it is being treated with Amorolfine.

If you are using any solvent such as thinners or spirits, use a rubber or waterproof glove to protect the treated nail.

Do not share this medicine with anyone else, even if they appear to have the same problem as you do.

Maintain good hygiene as this is important in managing fungal infections.
What side effects could I experience?
Amorolfine may cause any of the following side effects: redness, itching or a burning sensation around the nail and a discoloured, brittle or broken nail.

Inform your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away or are severe, or if you experience other side effects.
Can I use this with other medicines?
Always notify your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking or using any other medicines, including herbal tonics such as traditional Chinese medicines, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.
How should I store this medicine?
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children.

Keep the bottle tightly closed after use.

Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
