Adult : PO 10-25 mg/kg/day.

Acute uncomplicated falciparum malaria
Adult: Usual dose range: 10-25 mg/kg/day over variable number of days, depending on response.
Special Precautions
Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Mild GI disturbances, dizziness, tinnitus, neutropaenia, ECG abnormalities, prolongation of QT interval.
Food Interaction
Increased absorption by grapefruit juice.
Lab Interference
Elevated liver enzyme values.
Action
Description: Artemisinin is a potent and rapidly acting blood schizontocide against P. vivax and also against chloroquine-sensitive and chloroquine resistant strains of Falciparum.
