Non-narcotic analgesic-antipyretic whose analgesic activity is independent of its antipyretic effect.
Conditions where there may be either pain or fever alone, or where both pain and fever exist.
Wide variety of painful conditions including headache, dysmenorrhea, myalgias, neuralgias, rheumatism, arthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders as well as in febrile conditions eg, rheumatic fever, common colds, flu and other upper respiratory tract infections.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Mild Cases: Adults: 1 tab. Older Children: ½ tab.
Moderate to Severe Cases: Adults: 2 tabs. Older Children: 1 tab. All doses are to be taken 3 times daily.
Special Precautions
Biogesic should be given with care to patients with impaired kidney or liver functions. Chronic use should be avoided. Daily use may potentiate oral anticoagulants.
Adverse Reactions
Hematological, skin and other allergic reactions.
Drug Interactions
May interact with alcohol, oral anticoagulant, chloramphenicol, aspirin, phenobarbital, liver enzyme inducers and hepatotoxic agents.
Store at a temperature less than 40°C, preferably between 15-30°C.
