Citicoline
Indications/Uses
Acute & recovery phase of cerebral infarction. Cognitive dysfunction due to degenerative (ie, Alzheimer's disease) & cerebrovascular disease. Cerebral insufficiency due to head trauma or brain injury. Parkinson's disease.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab 1-2 tab once daily. Inj 1 g inj.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patient w/ hypertonia of the parasympathetic nervous system.
Special Precautions
Increase in cerebral blood flow in episodes of persistent intracranial hemorrhage may be aggravated by large doses. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Drug Interactions
Do not use concomitantly w/ meclofexonate-containing products. Potentiates effect of L-dopa.
