Description
Each lozenge contains Dequalinium chloride 0.25 mg.
Action
Dequalinium chloride is an effective antibacterial and antifungal agent which is active against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Borrelia vincenti, Candida albicans and can destroy even antibiotic-resistant microorganisms after very short contact.
Indications/Uses
Sore throat, inflammation of the oral cavity and pharynx eg, gingivitis, periodontitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis and angina. Infection of the mucous membrane of the mouth eg, stomatitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth, repeat every 3-4 hrs.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to dequalinium chloride.
Storage
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light.
