Indications/Uses
Skin lesions primarily or secondarily infected w/ Staphylococci, Streptococci, Corynebacterium minutissimum, Propionibacterium acnes, & other Na fusidate-sensitive organisms (impetigo, infected wound, hydradenitis, folliculitis, boils, paronychia, sycosis barbae, carbuncles, erythrasma).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply to affected area bd-tds daily for 7 days. May be used w/o covering dressing.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Infection caused by non susceptible organisms, particularly Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Special Precautions
Avoid contact w/ eyes. May increase the risk of contact sensitisation & development of antibiotic resistance in extended & recurrent use. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Rashes, mild stinging & irritation.
