Fungal diastase, pepsin, dried yeast.
Each capsule contains fungal diastase (1:1200) derived from Aspergillus oryzae 50 mg (digests not less than 60 g of cooked starch), pepsin 10 mg (digests not less than 30 g of coagulated egg albumin) and dried yeast IP 85 100 mg.
Pharmacology: Enzymes are considered beneficial for dyspepsia and indigestion. Fungal diastase is derived from the fungus Aspergillus oryzae. Fungal diastase is mainly useful for carbohydrate digestion.
Pepsin contains proteolytic enzymes secreted by the gastric gland, which control the degradation of proteins into proteoses and peptones. It hydrolyses polypeptides including those with bonds adjacent to aromatic or dicarboxylic L-amino acid residues.
Dried yeast provides the necessary vitamin-B complex and also helps maintain a healthy flora in the intestine.
For indigestion and dyspepsia.
For bedridden patients where the enzymatic process becomes disturbed which may lead to indigestion and dyspepsia.
1-2 caps immediately after meals.
Store in a cool, dark and dry place.
