Full Prescribing Info
The Phosphatidylcholine molecule in Livolin Forte has unique physical and chemical properties which are necessary for the cell membrane to function. Phosphatidylcholine plays an essential role in the process that maintains the metabolic efficiency within the cell and contributes to cell stability (homeostasis). Through the cell membranes, Phosphatidylcholine also makes it possible for the cell to carry out its sophisticated, specialized functions. Moreover, Livolin Forte supplements the function of Phosphatidylcholine by providing essential vitamins like vitamin B complex (B1, B2, B6, B12 and nicotinamide) and vitamin E.
The liver has capacity to regenerate but regeneration requires cell replacement that relies heavily on Phosphatidylcholine. As the main substance needed to build the cell membrane and thereby to help in replacing the damaged cells, Phosphatidylcholine is probably the single most important nutrient for the liver. Double-blind clinical trials indicate that liver regains function significantly faster when Phosphatidylcholine is given as a dietary supplement.
Liver damage most often occurs as a result of toxic attack. Over the past decades, numerous clinical trials have been conducted in which dietary PC has shown its benefit in subjects suffering from mild or severe liver damage. Livolin Forte supplementation can help reverse the progression of symptoms, help the liver to recover faster and better.
