When should the patient not take Lydia Fine: The patient should not take Lydia Fine if she has: A suspected or confirmed pregnancy; Irregular unexplained vaginal bleeding; A breast-fed infant less than 6 months of age.
An oral contraceptive is contraindicated if the patient has any of the following conditions: Rifampicin treatment (anti-tuberculosis); History of heart attack/strokes/cardiac rhythm disorders/venous thrombosis/high blood pressure; Known or suspected cancer of the breasts or vagina/uterus; Diabetes, gallbladder/liver diseases; Allergies to any of the ingredients of Lydia Fine; Headaches with neurological symptoms.
