Indications/Uses
May be useful during pregnancy & lactation. Assists in maintaining normal blood levels. May assist in the management of dietary Fe deficiency; strengthening bones & tissues in childn & older adults. May reduce the risk of brain &/or spinal cord birth defects eg, neural tube defects (spina bifida & anencephaly). Helps in Ca absorption.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Special Precautions
Should not be used to replace a balanced diet. Do not exceed doses unless advised. Patients who had a baby w/ neural tube defect/spina bifida. Contains pyridoxine which may be dangerous when used in large amounts or for prolonged period. Contains selenium which may be toxic in high doses; do not exceed selenium max daily dose 150 mcg for adults.
