Per Subsyde-CR cap Diclofenac Na. Per Subsyde-M gel Diclofenac diethylamine 1.16%, linseed oil 3%, methyl salicylate 10%, menthol 5%
Indications/Uses
Subsyde-CR Inflammatory & degenerative forms of rheumatism, RA, ankylosing spondylitis, OA, spondylarthritis, painful syndromes of the vertebral column, non-articular rheumatism, painful post-traumatic & post-op inflammation & swelling, painful &/or inflammatory conditions in gynaecology. As an adjuvant in severe painful inflammatory infections of the ENT. Subsyde-M Relief from pain, inflammation & swelling due to musculoskeletal disorders eg sprain, strains, tendinitis, bursitis, hand, neck & shoulder pain, muscle stiffness, various types of arthritis, backache, lumbago & sciatica.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Subsyde CR Adult 1 cap daily. Subsyde-M Apply to the affected area tds-qds.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Peptic ulcer. Patients in whom attacks of asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis have been precipitated by acetysalicyclic acid or other prostaglandin synthetase inhibitors.
Special Precautions
Subsyde-CR GI disorders, peptic ulcer, ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease. Cardiac & renal impairment. Monitor hepatic function during prolonged treatment. Subsyde-M Only apply to intact skin. Avoid contact w/ eyes & mucous membranes. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, dyspepsia, flatulence & anorexia, headache, dizziness, vertigo, skin rash, acute renal failure, haematuria, proteinuria & internephritis, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, haemolytic anaemia, aplastic anaemia.
Drug Interactions
Aspirin, anticoagulants, digoxin, methotrexate, cyclosporine & lithium, oral hypoglycaemics, diuretics.
