Terbinafine HCl.
Description
Each gram contains terbinafine hydrochloride 10 mg (8.888 mg by terbinafine).
Indications/Uses
Dermatomycosis due to dermatophytes eg, Trichophyton (T. rubum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum and T. violaceum), Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum; dermal candidiasis; tinea versicolor due to Pityrosporum orbiculare (malassezia furfur).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Rub adequate amounts over the affected and surrounding skin area once to twice daily.
Tinea Pedis: Once to twice daily for 2-4 weeks.
Interphalangeal Tinea Pedis: Twice daily for 1 week.
Tinea Corporisa, Tinea Cruris and Dermal Candidiasis: Twice daily for 1-2 weeks.
Tinea Versicolor: Twice daily for 2 weeks.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to terbinafine or to any of the excipients of Terbipac.
Special Precautions
General: For external use only. Do not use Terbipac around the eyes.
Terbipac should be used with caution in patients with history of allergy or hypersensitivity to it containing propylene glycol.
Use in pregnancy & lactation: No evidence of harm to the fetus has been reported with the use of Terbipac in laboratory animals but Terbipac should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
Terbipac should be discontinued during lactation because it is secreted in mother's milk.
Use in children: Do not use Terbipac because the clinical use of it is limited in pediatric patients.

Adverse Reactions
Dermatological: Urticaria, flare, erythema, itching or irritation.
Inform the physician or pharmacist in case of any adverse reactions related to drug use.

Caution For Usage
Instructions for Use and Handling: Protect from a direct ray of the sun and keep in a cool place.
Do not change the container to prevent from misuse and preserve quality.
Storage
Store in a tight container at room temperature.
Shelf-Life: 36 months.
