Tetanus toxoid 5 Lf, diphtheria toxoid 2 Lf, pertussis toxoid 2.5 mcg, filamentous haemagglutinin 5 mcg, pertactin 3 mcg, fimbriae (AGG 2+3) 5 mcg
Indications/Uses
Active booster immunization for the prevention of tetanus diphtheria & pertussis (whooping cough) in childn ≥4 yr.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Booster dose: 0.5 mL IM. Redose at 5-10 yr interval.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Acute neurological disorders.
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity. Do not administer by intravascular, intradermal or SC; IM in patients w/ any bleeding disorders eg, hemophilia or thrombocytopenia or in persons on anticoagulant therapy; individuals w/ progressive or unstable neurological disorders, uncontrolled epilepsy or progressive encephalopathy. Postpone vaccination in cases of an acute or febrile disease. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <4 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Pain at inj site. Tiredness (in childn), headache (in adolescents & adults 18-64 yr). Myalgia. Fever.
Drug Interactions
May interfere w/ the development of expected immune response w/ immunosuppressive treatments.
