Monitor for serotonin syndrome. Pregnancy & lactation. Elderly. Cap: Hypersensitivity to peanut or soya. Monitor patients w/ history of constipation or signs of subacute intestinal obstruction. Patients w/, or are likely to develop prolongation of the QT interval especially those w/ electrolyte abnormalities, CHF, bradyarrhythmias, conduction disturbances, & taking antiarrhythmic agents or medicinal products that may lead to QT prolongation or electrolyte abnormalities. Correct hypokalemia & hypomagnesemia prior to administration. Do not use in prevention or treatment of nausea & vomiting in the days following chemotherapy if not associated w/ another chemotherapy administration. Fructose intolerance. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. IV: Monitor for emergence of serotonin syndrome, especially w/ concomitant use w/ other serotonergic drugs. Discontinue treatment if serotonin syndrome occurs. Labour & delivery. 75 mcg/mL IV: Childn for post-op nausea & vomiting. 250 mcg/mL IV: Neonates <1 mth.
