Adult & elderly 5 mg once daily. May be increased to 10 mg once daily after at least 1 mth. Max: 10 mg/day. Patient w/ DLB Dose may be decreased to 5 mg depending on the symptoms of the patient.
Succinylcholine-type muscle relaxation during anesth. Sick sinus syndrome or other supraventricular cardiac conditions eg, SA or AV block. Patients at risk for developing ulcers, bladder outflow obstruction, seizures. History of asthma or obstructive pulmonary disease. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Childn.
