Indications/Uses
Elevated IOP in patients w/ ocular HTN or open-angle glaucoma.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 drop in the affected eye(s) bid.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Sensitization may recur when re-administered irrespective of the route of administration. Discontinue if signs of serious reactions or hypersensitivity occurs. Acute-angle closure glaucoma. Severe renal & hepatic impairment. Concomitant administration w/ oral carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Ocular surgery or intercurrent ocular condition eg, trauma or infection. If >1 topical ophth drug is being used, administer atleast 10 min apart. Contains benzalkonium Cl. Remove contact lenses prior to application & wait at least 15 min before reinsertion. May impair ability to drive & operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Blurred vision, eye irritation, eye pain, ocular discomfort, ocular hyperaemia; dysgeusia.
Drug Interactions
Rare instances of drug interactions w/ high-dose salicylate therapy.

S01EC04 - brinzolamide ; Belongs to the class of carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Used in the treatment of glaucoma.
