Hydrophilic polyurethane wound dressing impregnated with 1% silver.
Betasplast Silver is a hydrophilic, silver impregnated, anti-microbial wound dressing made of polyurethane.
Betasplast Silver aids in creating an anti-microbial environment to prevent infection and reduces the number of bacteria where the dressing conforms to the wound.
Betasplast Silver has 1% silver (75 μg/cm2 silver) in the dressing that kills wound bacteria held in the dressing.
Betasplast Silver stimulates wound healings and absorbs exudates in wound site while maintaining a moist wound environment compared with a typical dry condition.
Betasplast Silver provides moderate MVTR (Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate) for making skin breathe and protecting skin from bacterial invasions and contaminations.
