Description
Bio-Oil contains the ingredient of PurCellin Oil which reduces the thickness of the formulation. This makes Bio-Oil easily absorbed and helps ensure the targeted delivery of its contents.
It also contains the following ingredients: Paraffin liquidum, triisononanoin, cetearyl ethylhexanoate, isopropyl myristate, retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), Helianthus annuus seed oil, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), Anthemis nobilis flower oil (chamomile oil), Lavandula angustifolia oil (lavender oil), Rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil (rosemary oil), Calendula officinalis extract (calendula oil), Glycine soja oil, butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), bisabolol, parfum, α-isomethyl ionone, amyl cinnamal, benzyl salicylate, citronellol, coumarin, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, hydroxycitronellal, hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde, limonene, linalool, CI 26100.
Bio-Oil is easily absorbed and non-greasy. It is hypoallergenic and is suitable for sensitive skin. It is formulated for use on the face and body.
Indications/Uses
Bio-Oil is recommended to help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. It is also recommended for ageing and dehydrated skin.
Scars: Helps improve the appearance of both new and old scars.
Stretch Marks: Helps reduce the possibility of stretch marks forming during periods of rapid change in body size eg, pregnancy, teenage growth spurts and weight gain.
Uneven Skin Tone: Helps improve the appearance of pigmentation marks and blemishes caused by hormonal fluctuations, skin lighteners or excessive sun exposure.
Ageing Skin: Helps smooth and tone ageing and wrinkled skin on both the face and body.
Dehydrated Skin: Helps supplement the skin's natural oils stripped away by factors eg, extreme weather, water with high chemical content, frequent bathing and the drying effects of central heating or air conditioning.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Scars and Uneven Skin Tone and Ageing Skin: Apply twice daily. Use for a minimum of 3 months for scars.
Stretch Marks: Apply and massage twice daily into the areas most susceptible to stretch marks and also, to help improve the appearance of existing stretch marks. During pregnancy, massage into the abdomen, hips, breasts, lower back and upper thighs twice daily from the start of 2nd trimester.
Dehydrated Skin: Apply after bathing, showering, sun-tanning or swimming. Massage gently into the skin, paying particular attention to the dry area. It is also ideal as a bath oil.
Administration: Massage gently with the fingertips in a circular motion until fully absorbed.
Special Precautions
For external use only. Do not use on broken skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Individual results will vary.

Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
