Multivitamins + Minerals (Centrum Advance) is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Adult: Take one tablet daily.
Symptoms of overdose may include: gastrointestinal disorders, such as, diarrhea; metabolic and nutritional disorders, such as, hypervitaminosis A and hypervitaminosis D.
In case of accidental overdose, discontinue use and seek professional assistance immediately.
This product is contraindicated in patients who are allergic (hypersensitive) to its active ingredients or other components of the product.
Do not exceed recommended daily dose/amount.
Product contains iron which could be harmful to children if taken in large doses.
As with any drug, if the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, she should seek the advice of a doctor before using this product.
If the patient is taking other vitamin supplements, which may also contain Vitamin A, make sure to read the label to ensure that the patient does not exceed the upper tolerable intake levels of 3,000 mcg RE (retinol equivalent)/day.
When taken as directed, multivitamins are not expected to cause serious side effects. Less serious side effects may include: abdominal discomfort, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, stomach discomfort and hypersensitivity.
