Treatment of bronchial asthma & croup.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Initial dose: Adult 1-2 mg bid. Childn 500 mcg-1 mg bid. Individualized maintenance dose. Croup 2 mg as single dose or 2 doses of 1 mg 30 min apart.

Special Precautions
Patients being transferred from oral corticosteroids. Monitor hematological & adrenal function. Special care for childn using immunosuppressant drugs. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Mild throat irritation, coughing, hoarseness & candida infection in the oropharynx. Skin reactions, urticaria, rash, dermatitis & facial skin irritations.
