Contents
Per g Betamethasone dipropionate 640 mcg (equiv to betamethasone 500 mcg), gentamicin sulfate (equiv to gentamicin base 1 mg)
Indications/Uses
Relief of inflammatory manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses when complicated by secondary infections caused by organisms susceptible to gentamicin or when such infection is suspected.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply to the affected area bid in morning & at night.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Discontinue if irritation, sensitization or super infection develops. Cross allergenicity among aminoglycosides. Not for ophth use. Visual disturbance. Pregnancy & lactation. Adrenal suppression may occur especially in infants & childn.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity, skin discoloration, transient irritation (erythema & pruritus). Burning, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions, hypopigmentation, perioral or allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae, miliara & blurred vision.
