Patients w/ bilateral renal artery stenosis or stenosis of an artery to a single kidney, aortic valve stenosis, & hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. Symptomatic hypotension may occur, heart failure, porphyria. Hepatic or severe renal impairment. Elderly.
Antagonized antihypertensive effect w/ NSAIDs. Reduced antihypertensive effect w/ sympathomimetics. May lead to elevation of serum K w/ K-sparing diuretics. May produce additive antihypertensive & antianginal effects w/ SL nitroglycerin, long-acting nitrates, β-blockers or other antianginal agents.
