Thiamine mononitrate 300 mg, riboflavin 30 mg, nicotinic acid 25 mg, pyridoxine HCl 100 mg, cyanocobalamin 250 mcg
Indications/Uses
Treatment of vit B-complex deficiencies. Adjunct in the management of neuralgia, neuritis, neuropathies. Inherited metabolic disorders eg, Leigh's necrotizing encephalopathy, vit B6 dependency, methylmalonic aciduria. Lactic acidosis. Wernicke's encephalopathy. Beri-beri. Use of drugs which induces increased requirement for vit B6. Malabsorption syndromes.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Adverse Reactions
Pyridoxine: Neurologic effects. Nicotinic acid: Flushing of the face, arms & chest, itching & nausea.
Drug Interactions
Vit B1 (>500 mg daily): Neuromuscular blocking agents (eg, tubocurarine Cl, metocurine iodide, pancuronium & vecuronium bromide). Vit B6: May reduce blood levels w/ phenobarb or phenytoin.
