Ca carbonate 800 mg, Mg hydroxide 165 mg, famotidine 10 mg
Indications/Uses
Short-term symptomatic relief of heartburn or non-ulcer dyspepsia. Relief of hyperacidity & as a daily source of extra Ca.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals. Chew tab completely before swallowing.
Special Precautions
Flatulence & alkalosis may occur. Concomitant use w/ ketoconazole & itraconazole.
Adverse Reactions
Hypercalcemia. Mg hydroxide: Diarrhea, hypermagnesemia. Ca carbonate: Constipation.
Drug Interactions
Administer antacid 2-3 hr apart. CYP450 inhibitors. May reduce absorption of ketoconazole & itraconazole.
