Indications/Uses

Replacement of fluid & electrolyte losses associated w/ acute diarrhea, vomiting & increased metabolic expenditure in vigorous exercises & athletics.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Deficit therapy: Mild dehydration Adult & childn 30 mL/kg. Infant ≤2 yr 50 mL/kg. Moderate dehydration Adult & childn 60 mL/kg. Infant 100 mL/kg. Maintenance therapy Adult & childn 60 mL/kg/day. Infant 100 mL/kg/day. Active replacement/preventive therapy Adult 200 mL. Childn 100 mL. Infant 50 mL.

Administration
