Description
Ingredients: Ectoin 0.5%, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Sorbitol, Water and Citrate Buffer.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is an isotonic solution contains Ectoin, a natural cell-protective molecule with inflammation-reducing as well as membrane- and lipid-stabilizing properties.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is free of preservatives.
Indications/Uses
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is intended to treat and prevent symptoms of dry and irritated eyes.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is able to reduce inflammations caused by an irritated or dry conjunctiva which are major problems of the dry eye syndrome.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS alleviates symptoms of dry eyes such as burning, dryness, itching. HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS moistens dry eyes and additionally prevents from further dehydration.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film and protects ocular cells from hyperosmolarity.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS supports the regeneration process of dry and irritated conjunctiva.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is suitable for sensitive eyes.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is suitable for preventive use.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is suitable for contact lens wearer.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Always use HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS according to these instructions for use. Consult healthcare provider or pharmacist before use if not sure.
If not otherwise prescribed by the healthcare provider, apply 1-2 drops per eye, several times a day. Children 10 years of age and younger and patients unable to use HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS on their own should be assisted during the application of HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS.
1. Before using HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS for the first time, tear off the protective seal from the bottle.
2. It is recommended to wash hands before using HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS.
3. Remove the protective cap of the bottle and avoid any touching of the exposed tip.
4. Bend the patient's head slightly backwards.
5. Hold the bottle upside down in one hand between thumb and forefinger or index finger. Hold the bottle as vertical as possible.
6. Carefully open the eye by using thumb and forefinger of the other hand or gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch or pocket and look up.
7. Put the tip of the bottle close to the lower eyelid, but do not let it touch the eye.
8. Release one drop into the pouch or pocket formed between the eye and eyelid by gently squeezing the bottle.
9. Close the eye slowly to disperse the solution throughout the eye as good as possible.
10. Repeat the procedure on the other eye.
11. Carefully replace the protective cap after each usage of HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS.
Special Precautions
If recommended by doctor/healthcare professional, HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS may be used after eye/ocular surgery and trauma.
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS should not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to Ectoin or any of the other ingredients of the eye drops.
If allergic reactions occur, the use of HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS must be discontinued immediately.
To ensure safe hygiene, each eye drops bottle should only be used by one person.
Do not use for more than 3 months after opening.
There are no data available regarding interactions between HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS and other eye drops or topical eye ointments.

Use In Pregnancy & Lactation

Adverse Reactions
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is well tolerated. Up to now, no regularly occurring  or persisting side effects are known.
In isolated cases, HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS may provoke short term eye irritation, ocular hyperaemia, or conjunctivitis.
Inform healthcare provider or pharmacist if the patient notice side effects that are associated with the use of HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS.
If conditions persist or worsen, contact the healthcare provider or pharmacist.
Storage
HYDRELO LUBRICANT EYE DROPS should be stored between 2°C-25°C.
