Indications/Uses
Inflammatory conditions of the palpebral & bulbar conjunctiva, cornea & anterior segment of the globe.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1-2 drops. Severe disease To be given hrly, slowly reduce to 4-6 times daily.
Contraindications
Epithelial herpes simplex, vaccinia, varicella, viral diseases of the cornea & conjunctiva; TB of the eye, fungal disease of ocular structures.
Special Precautions
Sjogren's keratoconjunctivitis, prolonged use, acute purulent infections, diseases causing thinning of the cornea or sclera. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Glaucoma w/ optic nerve damage, visual acuity & field defects; cataract formation; secondary ocular infection, perforation of the globe.
