Dosage/Direction for Use

Initial dose: 5 mg once daily. Max dose: 10 mg. Elderly >65 yr 5 mg once daily. Hepatic insufficiency Initial dose: 2.5 mg once daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Sensitivity to dihydropyridines or amlodipine. Severe hypotension. Cardiogenic shock, aortic stenosis & unstable angina (excluding Prinzmetal's angina). Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
