Per mL Gramicidin 25 u, neomycin sulfate 1,700 u, polymyxin-B sulfate 5,000 u
Indications/Uses
Prophylaxis & treatment of external bacterial infections of the eye including conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis, corneal ulcers, styes, abrasions & lacerations.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1 or 2 drops every 4 hr for 7-10 days. Severe infections May increase to 2 drops every hr.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Prolonged use may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms. Discontinue use if purulent discharge, inflammation or pain becomes aggravated & rash or other allergic reaction develops. Risk of allergic cross-reactions. May cause cutaneous sensitization. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Cutaneous sensitization; itching, reddening & edema of conjunctiva & eyelid.
