Indications/Uses
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >16 yr 1-2 tab 4-6 hrly as needed.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: Swallow whole, do not divide/chew/crush.
Special Precautions
Contains tartrazine causing allergic reaction including bronchial asthma.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, vomiting, constipation, drowsiness, hematological reaction including thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, resp depression & hypotension occasionally.
Drug Interactions
Paracetamol: May increase toxicity w/ hepatotoxic drugs or drugs that induce liver microsomal enzymes. Absorption may be accelerated by drugs eg, metoclopramide. May affect excretion & alter conc w/ probenecid. Reduced absorption w/ colestyramine.
