Indications/Uses
Management of peripheral vascular disease & reduction of intermittent claudication symptoms.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Reduction of intermittent claudication symptoms 100 mg bid up to 12 wk.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take at least 30 min before or 2 hr after meals.
Contraindications
Urinary, intracranial, GI & vitreous body hemorrhage/bleeding disorders, hemophilia/other hemostatic disorders, capillary fragility, hemoptysis, renal failure, chronic heart failure. Pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Monitor for chest pain or any anginal symptoms. Menstruation; moderate or severe hepatic & renal impairment. Lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, dizziness, insomnia, anxiety; palpitation, tachycardia; diarrhea, anorexia, vomiting.
Drug Interactions
Enzyme-inhibiting drugs.
