Infuse for 15 min.
Patient >50 kg
1 g as single dose every 4 or more hr. Max: 4 g/day,
33-50 kg
15 mg/kg as single dose every 4 or more hr. Max: 60 mg/kg or 3 g/day, whichever is less.

Increased paracetamol toxicity w/ other potentially hepatotoxic drugs or drugs that induce liver microsomal enzymes. Accelerated absorption w/ metoclopramide. May affect excretion & altered plasma conc w/ probenecid. Reduced absorption w/ colestyramine.
