Regular exam of blood or urine glucose. Any change of insulin application should be made cautiously. Transferring from other insulin. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn, elderly.

Adverse Reactions

Hypoglycemia. Allergic reactions eg, local redness, inflammation, itching or lipid atrophy & hyperplasia.

OCs, adrenal cortical hormone, hypothyroid hormone, oral antidiabetic agents, salicylates, sulfanilamide & other antidepressants. Alcohol.
