Discontinue use if a reaction suggesting sensitivity or chemical irritation occurs. Minimize exposure to sunlight, including sunlamps. Do not use in patients w/ sunburn. Patients whose occupation requires considerable sun exposure & those w/ inherent sensitivity to the sun; w/ eczematous skin. Weather extremes eg, wind or cold. Avoid contact in the eyes, mouth, angles of the nose & mucous membranes. May induce severe local erythema & peeling at the site of application. Lactation.
Possible interaction w/ topical medication, medicated or abrasive soaps & cleansers, soaps & cosmetics that have strong drying effect & products w/ high conc of alcohol, astringents, spices or lime. Concomitant use w/ prep contain sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid.
