Dicycloverine HCl
Indications/Uses
Symptomatic relief of GI spasm particularly that associated w/ irritable bowel syndrome & as adjunct treatment in peptic ulcer.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Childn 6 mth-2 yr 1-2 mL tid-qid.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ diarrhea. Not to be given to patients w/ angle-closure glaucoma or w/ narrow angle between iris & cornea. Childn. Not to be given in infants <6 mth.
Adverse Reactions
Dryness of mouth w/ difficulty in swallowing & talking, thirst, reduced bronchial secretions, mydriasis w/ cycloplegia & photophobia, flushing & dryness of skin, transient bradycardia w/ palpitations & arrhythmias, difficulty in micturition, constipation.
