Blumea balsamifera L. (Sambong leaf powd).
Each tablet contains 500 mg of Sambong (Blumea balsamifera L.), PP leaf powder.
Urisam tablet is a herbal medicine approved by Department of Health and Food and Drug Administration. It contains Sambong (Blumea balsamifera L.) leaf powder.
This product is used as an anti-urolithiasis in patients with urinary tract stones with normal kidney function and as a diuretic in patients with mild to moderate congestive heart failure and edema.
Anti-urolithiasis: 2 tablets three times a day.
Diuretic: 1 tablet three times a day.
It may be taken with or without food. Take before or after meal.
Missed Dose: If the patient misses a dose, just give the next does and the subsequent doses at the usual recommended schedule. Do not double the dose unless recommended by a doctor.
There is no known signs and symptoms of overdose.
As per clinical studies, there is no risk of overdose. In case of an overdose, consult a doctor or pharmacist immediately.
Do not give more than the recommended dose.
There is no known contraindications for this product.
If the patient is allergic to any ingredient of the product. Special precaution needed for patients with excretory urogram showing signs of renal obstruction. Not enough is known about the use of sambong during pregnancy and breast feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use.
