Preventive treatment of episodes of angina pectoris. Adjuvant symptomatic treatment of vertigo & tinnitus. Adjuvant treatment of visual disorders of circulatory origin.
Hypersensitivity. Parkinson's disease, parkinsonian symptoms, tremors, restless leg syndrome & other related movement disorders. Severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min).
Not for curative treatment of angina attacks nor as initial treatment for unstable angina pectoris or MI nor in the pre-hospital phase or during the 1st days of hospitalization. May aggravate or cause symptoms similar to those of Parkinson's disease. Discontinue use in occurrence of parkinsonian symptoms, restless leg syndrome, tremors or gait instability (low incidence & usually reversible after discontinuation). Falls may occur following a drop in BP or loss of balance, particularly in patients taking antihypertensive treatment. Contains sunset yellow & cochineal red which may cause allergic reactions. Moderate renal impairment. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Avoid use during pregnancy & lactation. Childn <18 yr. Elderly >75 yr.
