Indications/Uses
1st line treatment of essential HTN. As monotherapy or in combination w/ other antianginal drugs in the treatment of confirmed or suspected vasospastic angina & symptomatic treatment of chronic stable angina.
Dosage/Direction for Use
HTN & angina Initially 5 mg once daily, may be increased to a max of 10 mg. CAD 5-10 mg once daily. 
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to dihydropyrimidines.
Special Precautions
Pulmonary edema in patients w/ NYHA III & IV heart failure of nonischemic etiology. Hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Flushing; fatigue; edema; dizziness, headache; abdominal pain, nausea; palpitations; somnolence.
