Description
One dose consists of a minimum of 100 million live L. reuteri Protectis and 10 μg of vitamin D3 corresponding to 200% DRI (Daily Reference Intake) in the EU.
Action
BioGaia Protectis baby drops with vitamin D is a food supplement containing the patented lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis (L. reuteri DSM 17938) that helps the good microorganisms restore a natural balance in the gut. Because L. reuteri Protectis naturally colonizes humans, it has a strong adaptation to persist and interact with humans.
L. reuteri Protectis has been proven both effective and safe for children.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system in children and is also needed for normal growth and development of bone in children.
Indications/Uses
Helps restore natural balance in the gut & contributes to the normal function of the immune system in childn.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Recommended dose: 5 drops once daily. One dose consists of a minimum of 100 million live L. reuteri Protectis and 10 μg of vitamin D3 corresponding to 200% DRI (Daily Reference Intake) in the EU.
Recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. This product should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
The product can be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Caution For Usage
How to use BioGaia Protectis baby drops with vitamin D: Shake well before use.
Use 5 drops once daily.
For easier dispensing, air vent on drop insert needs to be facing upward. Turn bottle to a 45° angle to slowly form the drops. Drops can be given by spoon, on the breast or added to breastmilk or formula. The drops do not change the taste of food or drink.
Do not add to hot drink or food as this may damage the live bacteria.
Storage
Store in a dry place, not above room temperature (max 25°C/77°F). Keep the bottle closed. Avoid contact with fluids like saliva or water. Opened bottle should be used within 3 months.
