Eperisone HCl
Indications/Uses
Neck-shoulder-arm syndrome, scapulohumeral periarthritis & low back pain. Spastic paralysis caused by the following diseases including CV disorders, spastic spinal paralysis, cervical spondylosis, sequelae of surgical trauma (cerebrospinal tumor), sequelae of trauma (spinal & head injury), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, infantile cerebral palsy, spinocerebellar degeneration, spinal vascular disorder, subacute myelo-optico neuropathy (SMON) & other encephalomyelopathies.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 3 tab daily in 3 divided doses.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Hepatic function disorders, drug hypersensitivity. Reduced dose or discontinue treatment in the event of weakness, light-headedness, sleepiness or other symptoms. May affect the ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy. Avoid use during lactation. Childn. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Rash; sleepiness, insomnia, headache, numbness in the extremities; nausea/vomiting, anorexia, stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation & thirst; weakness, light-headedness & generalized fatigue; hot flushes.
Drug Interactions
Disturbance of visual accommodation occurred in concomitant of methocarbamol w/ tolperisone HCl (analogue compd).
