Indications/Uses
Nerve pain (eg, pricking/tingling sensation, numbness, muscle stiffness, muscle cramp, impaired sensation).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take w/ or after meals. Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Not suitable for childn.
Special Precautions
Long-term treatment. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity reactions (eg, sweating, tachycardia & skin reactions w/ itching & urticaria); GI complaints (eg, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or abdominal pain).
Drug Interactions
Reduced effect of L-dopa, pyridoxine-antagonists (eg INH, cycloserine, penicillamine, hydralazine). Reduced blood level w/ loop diuretics (eg, furosemide).
