Sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate.
Description
Per 100 g of nasal ointment contains sodium chloride 2.8 g, sodium bicarbonate 7.2 g.
Per mL of nasal spray of sodium chloride 3.3 mg, sodium bicarbonate 8.3 mg.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Nasal Ointment: Wool alcohols, lemon oil, soft white paraffin, medium chain triglycerides, liquid paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol.
Indications/Uses
Nasal Ointment: Supportive treatment in the event of a blocked nose, e.g. cold; cleaning and moistening the nasal mucosa, e.g. in the event of a dry air; for loosening scabs and crusts.
Nisita Nasal Ointment is suitable for adults, children and infants.
Nasal Spray: Helps to relieve blocked nose, e.g. cold; cleans and moistens the nasal mucosa, e.g. in the event of dry air; loosens scabs and crusts.
Nisita Nasal Spray is free from preservatives and suitable for adults, children and infants.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Due to reasons of hygiene and to avoid infection, each tube of Nisita Nasal Ointment/Nisita Nasal Spray should only be used by one person. After application, the tube nozzle should be wiped clean.
Nisita Nasal Ointment: Introduce a 1 cm-long string of ointment into each nostril, several times daily.
Insert the tube nozzle as deeply as possible into the nostrils, squeeze out a little ointment and distribute evenly over the nasal mucosa by gently massaging the sides of the nose.
The ointment can be applied to the inside of the nose using a cotton bud.
The ointment should be applied several times daily, particularly before going to bed.
Duration of Use: Nisita Nasal Ointment may be used over a longer period of time. If there is no improvement after14 days of treatment, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Nisita Nasal Spray: Adults and children (from 2 years onwards) spray 1-2 times into each nostril several times daily.
Infants, children (up to the age of 2 years) spray once into each nostril several times daily.
Application: Take down protective cap.
Push down the white actuator several times until the first puff is dispensed. Now the spray is ready for use for every further application.
Insert the spray nozzle into the nostril and apply the pump mechanism. In doing so, keep the bottle vertical and don't bend head backwards. During the spraying process, breathe easily through the nose; then release the actuator slowly.
Special Precautions
When used correctly, there are no particular precautionary measures to be taken.
Nisita Ointment:
May not be used in the event of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients contained in the ointment.
Nisita Spray: There are no experiences against an application.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
There is no evidence available to suggest that the use of Nisita Nasal Ointment/Nisita Nasal Spray during pregnancy or lactation would be harmful.
Adverse Reactions
Nisita Nasal Ointment: In rare cases, Nisita Nasal Ointment may cause a slight burning sensation on the nasal mucosa due to its mildly irritating effect.
Very rarely, the wool alcohols and the lemon oil contained in the ointment may lead to hypersensitivity reactions.
Side Effects
Nisita Nasal Spray: If used correctly, side effects are not to be expected.
Storage
Store in dry place below 25°C.
