Indications/Uses
Relief of temporary sleeplessness.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >16 yr 1-2 tab ½ hr before bedtime.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Prostatic hypertrophy, epilepsy, glaucoma or liver disease. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended for childn <16 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, difficulty in passing water, allergic reactions eg, skin rash; spontaneous bruising or bleeding.
Drug Interactions
Alcohol, other sleeping aids or anti-anxiety drugs.

R06AA02 - diphenhydramine ; Belongs to the class of aminoalkyl ethers used as systemic antihistamines.
