Anti-pruritic and cleansing, maintains natural acid protection; anti-inflammatory; removes psoriatic scales.
To relieve itchy and inflamed skin associated with dermatitis, chickenpox, nappy rash, sunburn, prickly heat, hives, insect bites, anal and genital itching and other skin irritations. Relieves the symptoms of psoriasis.
Bath: Add 15-30 mL to a warm to tepid bath (5 mL to a baby's bath or hand basin) and bathe for 5-10 min once daily, more often in severe cases. Pat skin dry. Shower: Apply directly onto wet skin, leave for a few min, briefly rinse. Pat skin dry. Patients in Bed: Add 10 mL to 3 L of warm water & sponge. Pat skin dry.
Maximum therapeutic effect is obtained by using Pinetarsol Solution in the bath, but it is still effective if used under the shower or as a sponge bath.
Dry gently. Pinetarsol Solution does not stain skin, bath or towel.
Sensitivity to any of the ingredients of Pinetarsol preparations.
Avoid contact with eyes. If any lather enters the eyes, flush with clean water.
